Trident Global Holdings (Chairman Yoon Jong-hyuk) announced on the 16th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Yonsei University on the 15th at the Quantum Convergence Research Center at Yonsei University International Campus for the construction and technology development of a "Quantum-AI Hybrid Platform" that integrates quantum computers and AI (artificial intelligence).

The signing ceremony was attended by Trident Global Holdings Chairman Yoon Jong-hyuk, Yonsei University President Yoon Dong-seop, Lee Hak-bae (Director of Quantum Leading Convergence Business Division), Georges-Olivier Reymond (Founder and Chief Strategic Alliance Officer of France's Pasqal), Alan Baratz (CEO of Canada's D-Wave), and Wesley Kuo (Chairman of Japan's Ubitus).

Through this agreement, Trident plans to accelerate technology commercialization and global market entry by combining Pasqal and D-Wave's quantum computers with high-performance AI in collaboration with Yonsei University. Institutional support from Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) is also being discussed.

In addition to establishing its own AI data center, Trident announced that it has secured a large-scale GPU supply system capable of providing tens of thousands of units to domestic companies and institutions through an exclusive contract with Ubitus. This is expected to contribute to the expansion of the domestic AI and AI data center ecosystem by building next-generation AI computing infrastructure based on NVIDIA B200.

Trident's partner companies, Pasqal and D-Wave, plan to connect on-premises quantum computers to the Yonsei Quantum Complex to explore joint development of application algorithms and platform utilization methods with domestic and international companies and research institutions. Ubitus plans to supply and install an AI data center equipped with a 512-node NVIDIA B200 GPU system in October this year and cooperate in overall system operation and maintenance.

Yoon Jong-hyuk, Chairman of Trident Global Holdings, stated, "This collaboration will serve as an opportunity for South Korea to set new milestones in new materials and drug development and lead the global market."

Yonsei University President Yoon Dong-seop said, "This collaboration is an important milestone in leading a future-oriented research ecosystem by converging quantum computing and high-performance AI. Together with global companies, we will contribute to quantum technology commercialization, talent development, and strengthening South Korea's advanced science and technology competitiveness."

Trident plans to move into Yonsei University International Campus to pursue substantial cooperation for joint technology development, intellectual property (IP) collaboration, and global market development. The company also plans to accelerate AI data center ecosystem expansion and technology commercialization by connecting with major global technology companies and research institutions and participating in national R&D projects.
